I'm inspired by the ruggedness of our wilderness areas and hope to capture the essence of the precious waterways, geography, trees, plants and sky. I find it very peaceful and fulfilling to watch the shoreline from the viewpoint of a paddler. I hope that others will find joy in viewing this painting.

Steam Trains were the historical connection for transportation from the 19 th century till about 1960's. Today there are still a few around as tourist attractions in Ontario. To me they are an iconic symbol of power, innovation, and connections. This train is shown travelling in the beautiful fall season with engines pumping and it's whistle proudly blowing.
